Our Doors Are Open!
Many of us in the elk industry have felt a need for a national association that would provide a venue to unite elk farmers & ranchers. As we embarked on this journey, we felt this need continue to grow. With the dedication of many in both the elk industry and other volunteers, we were able to brain storm on what we wanted this association to be. It had to be reliable... It had to be ethical... It had to be education oriented... and It had to be a member friendly association. Our goals include providing quality and up-to-date member services that would be user friendly in a secure environment.
Establishing a new organization is a big endeavor at any given time but with the economic down turn, we had to think smarter, faster and outside of the box. This brought out the best in everyone to make this dream a reality. We have worked with great people who share our vision and we knew an up-to-date web site was essential to the success of any new association. Our web designer has been invaluable in guiding us along this path.
As we continue along this path, there will be state representatives that will work directly with the board. These representatives will be voted on by the members of each state. We feel it is important for a national association to work closely with each state. Continue to look for new and exciting news on our website.
