The United Elk Farmers Association, or TUEFA, is a brand-new organization established in 2009. Though we are new by calendar days, we are "old" in regards to our knowledge, commitment and dedication to the farming of elk and the many areas that encompasses. The "founding fathers" of this new nonprofit group are elk farmers and ranchers who have been in the industry for many, many years. Our goals and purpose are to establish a reliable, ethical, education oriented and a member friendly venue to "Unite" all elk farmers. Through the use of our website, antler competitions, conventions, auctions, emails and occasional mailings, we hope to gain new farmers joining this exciting industry as well as memberships of the established elk farms and ranches. TUEFA is equipped and able to assist our members with promotional and marketing ideas as well as registration of all elk with the use of DNA profiles. .
The combined knowledge of the board of directors, volunteers and members of TUEFA and their willingness to share their knowledge and experiences, will provide invaluable information to beginners wanting to start an elk ranch as well as those of us who have been raising elk for many years.
We are at your service to do everything we can to help you, the united elk farmers, promote this diversified alternative livestock and it’s bountiful and rewarding outcomes.
